Dr Feldman has been practising cosmetic medicine and cosmetic surgery at the Clinic of Cosmetic Medicine in South Yarra, Melbourne, and Sydney , where she offers a range of treatments, including liposuction, facial aesthetics and skin treatments.

Dr Feldman acquired training in liposuction with ACCSM, a major training college in liposuction and other cosmetic surgical procedures in Australia.

Because of Dr Feldman was invited by the Victorian Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS Vic.) to be a member of the government sponsored working group in establishing liposuction guidelines. These guidelines were approved in August 2022.

Joni is still an active member of the government appointed forum who annually revise and amend and update  the regulations for the benefit of the general public.

Dr Joni Feldman graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1987. She started her training in general medicine. After several years of hospital training, she was drawn to the combination of cosmetic and science required in cosmetic surgery.

Dr Feldman has worked in major teaching hospitals throughout Australia and South Africa. In Australia, she was one of the first to explore the introduction of dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections. She was also one of the first in Australia to acknowledge the scientific value Vitamin A (Retin-A) as an anti-ageing treatment. Joni’s reputation in the field of anti-ageing prompted the television programme “60 Minutes” to exclusively interview her regarding this scientific breakthrough.

Dr Feldman’s practice is exclusive and highly personalised. She chooses to perform all procedures on her patients herself, never delegating to assistants or nurses. This ensures that all of her patients receive her treatment every time – while developing a stronger understanding of each patient’s pathology.

Although based in South Yarra, Melbourne, where she treats her patients at her registered day procedure centre, she also treats patients from Prahran, Toorak, Richmond and Brighton and surrounding suburbs.
