The procedure

Instead, only a local anaesthetic and light sedative is required. By avoiding general anaesthesia, your recovery time will be significantly reduced. Recovery from liposuction
Depending on the area of the back, it’s likely you will be given a compression garment to wear to help reduce swelling. A few hours after the procedure, you’ll be allowed to return home. You may only require two days off work and be able to continue normal activities within a week. However, it must be acknowledged that liposuction is a surgical procedure and, as with all surgery, requires adequate care and healing time. You must carefully follow Dr Feldman’s instructions during this time.
